1st Annual Conference and Funshops
Class is cancelled forever 2009 Fall Conference
This year's conference, (also the first!), will be held October 1st - October 3rd. The events will take place at Lancaster County Central Park and pavilions, in Lancaster, PA. Thursday evening, October 1st from 6:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. will be last minute registration time, pick up your bags of area information, vendor flyers, and more. It will also be a time to meet each other, and a make-your-own trail mix table will be set up for all. Anyone is invited to make a bag of trail mix to munch on during the conference. We will leave the facility around 9:00 PM. to go to the optional glow bowling location.
You will need your wristbands in order to attend any of the activities each day.
Once you pre-register and send your payment, you will receive a copy of the scheduled activites, directions, lodging recommendations, snack bar menu, and the wristbands for your family.
***IMPORTANT***
***Registration deadline is September 14th. Any registration forms received after that date will be charged an extra $10.00 per family. I don't want to do this, but I need to pay off everything before the conference even happens. I cannot afford to pay it all out of my pocket. I am sure everyone can understand this.***
Friday and Saturday Continental Breakfast will be served from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.. This will be a very informal, help yourself time. Each day lunch items, drinks, and snacks will be offered for various, affordable prices. Vegetarian items will be featured on the menu.
The conference activites and discussions will begin at 10:00 A.M. each day.
When filling out your registration form please check off the activities, and funshops your children and teens will be attending. Also check off which funshops and discussions you are planning on attending.
The conference fee is $40.00 per family. This is for the entire family. The fee includes; all funshops, discussion times, door prizes, vendor bags, use of a table to sell your handmade items, "free tables", continental breakfast each day, scheduled park nature programs, magic show, live band perfomance, altered book session (you just need to bring an old book!), faerie visit with magic pretzel wands, and use of all park facilities such as skate park, trails, etc.. The following is not included in the fee; snack bar items, anything we do off site, such as the glow bowling and the corn maze, henna tattoos (they will only be $2-4.00, this covers the cost of the materials needed, silent auction items, your accomodations, and any materials you are asked to bring to the funshops.
